Aromatherapy is the practice of using plant oils such as essential oils to achieve and maintain psychological and physical well-being. The scent that is given off from some of these oils can help us reduce stress and achieve a calm state of mind. The same can be done by using scented candles. Many people buy scented candles not only because they like the way they make the home or office smell but because the scent often reminds them of something or someone with fond memories. Cinnamon or French Vanilla may remind someone of cooking in the kitchen with their mother while other scents like Sunburst or Mellow Yellow may remind you of your last great vacation.
