If you are a fan of reading the early philosophical works of the early modern period then chances are you have heard of Thomas Reid. Reid is best known for his Theory Of Common Sense which has been read by millions. Unfortunately because of when the piece was written there has been so many changes in word use and grammar that many readers have difficulty understanding or deciphering the point Thomas Reid was trying to make. Words used back then are often no longer used today or are still used but have entirely different meanings. Students studying philosophy find this difficult when trying to study the written pieces. Thankfully there are some modern day philosophers who are able to translate the text into works that can be understood and enjoyed by all today.
