OMHA Celebrates 75 Years for Minor Hockey

Not a single Canadian could deny that hockey is a very popular sport in their country.  Whether it involves playing friends in a game of pond hockey, gearing up for a minor hockey tournament or dreams of one day scoring in the NHL, there are many Canadians in love with the game.  This year, many of those fans can help the Ontario Minor Hockey Association celebrate its seventy fifth year.  The OMHA is a large hockey association that helps coaches, players, trainers, officials and even parents of minor hockey players.  Each year volunteers help to organize leagues and tournaments across Ontario.  For minor hockey players in the province, driving to other small hockey towns in Ontario to play in tournaments is part of the game and will continue to be for years to come.
