Ship Watching In St. Catharines

If a trip to St. Catharines Ontario is in your future be sure to include a visit to the Welland Canal.  You won’t be disappointed.  The Canal which links two of the Great Lakes, Erie and Ontario is over 177 old and is a sight to see.  While visiting you may be lucky enough to observe a giant ship climb through each canal which will take the ship from one lake gradually to the other.  Watch the canals from the observation decks, visit the museum and watch the video presentation about the history of the Welland Canals.
